Badgers Retreat offers a tranquil setting with beautiful accommodations and a picturesque environment. My stay was marred by an unpleasant encounter with the park manager regarding pet rules, which significantly affected my overall enjoyment. While the lodge was perfect for a getaway, the unprofessional behavior of the management left a sour impression. I would recommend confirming policies ahead of time to avoid any issues during your stay.

My stay at Honeysuckle Lodge was absolutely delightful! The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home for my family and me. The location was great, with easy access to Richmond and a lovely market atmosphere. However, I faced an unfortunate incident with the park manager that cast a shadow over an otherwise wonderful experience.

Our stay at Honeysuckle Lodge was absolutely delightful! The accommodation was well-equipped, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, providing us with all the essentials for a relaxing getaway. While the location was peaceful and near attractions, the only hiccup we faced was with the key retrieval process; however, it was swiftly resolved with Jennie's help. Overall, a fantastic place for families!

Badgers Retreat has some amazing features, especially with the beautiful scenery that surrounds it. I was really pleased with our stay in Poppy Lodge, which never fails to impress. However, my friend's experience in another lodge was marred by poor cleanliness and maintenance issues. While the location is peaceful and safe for families, it's clear that attention to cleaning would elevate the overall experience significantly.

I recently stayed at the park and truly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and well-maintained accommodations. The lodge we stayed in was perfect for our needs and incredibly clean. However, an unpleasant encounter with the park manager dampened our experience and made us feel unwelcome. Despite this, the location was lovely for walks with our dogs, but the strict enforcement of rules was a downside.
